Astrology and stars
East or west, astrology has become a guiding belief in a number of people.It could be never a science like astronomy, rather it is an esoteric or a mere belief, that people follow, like the belief in God.It may be giving them, some pseudo relief from their confusion and an orientation for their problems.
The Sun is the astronomer’s basic model for stars. Science is confident, that they know the physical laws operating inside the Sun and therefore probably, inside other main-sequence stars. Scientists tell that, stars like the Sun, may keep their source of energy that make the luminosity constant for millions of years. There could be hundreds of millions of stars in the Milky Way alone, young and old, large and small, quiet and violent. It is a mystery in itself.
Astrology makes an anticipation of ,how the stars could influence the human life.
Aastrologers put each human birth under a certain Zodiac sign, that influences that persons life path. The zodiac constellations serve as reference points to astronomers when investigating the Universe. However to astrologers, the zodiac constellations, as well as the motions of the planets, were signs, believed to influence the behavior and lives of people.
Historical belief that people follow
Even though,there is no scientific basis for these interpretations, people believe it from ancient times.When Jesus was born in the manger ,angels told the shepherds that Christ was born and they got luck to see the new born as the first of everybody..Those shepherds, who had a very low social status, had the fortune, see the star boy who later became the great Shepherd of all times and the super star of humanity.
The story also tell us about the , magi who arrived from the east , in Jerusalem, asking, “Where is he who has been born King of the Jews. For we saw his star in the east, and have come to worship him.
Only the Magi saw the star at the time of Christ’s birth, but not the people of Bethlehem of Judea. The fact that king Herod had to ask the Magi about the star, proves that the star was not at all ,noticed by the ordinary untrained eyes. Only the Magi, who studied the stars,could have notice it. On the other hand, the star, the Magi were attracted by, had no acceptable natural celestial expression. But it might have been clearly a special miracle to attract the Magi. The star was a sign, only the wise men could discern. The average person had missed the star,that navigated the wise men to Jesus.
When Jesus grew up, he conquered death by joining the divinity.He also instilled a living hope of eternal life in people.He proved the meaning of that star, which appeared on his birth and also that those magi who recognised it, were not wrong.
Stars keep the Karma account of people, till they join the source.
What ever be that, the astrologers tell on these stars, it could be there, not as an accident but as the result of a certainty of some functions assigned to them by the creator of this universe.
Who knows, sometimes, all the Shining stars who come and go through a human life could have, possibly a guiding star up above in the distant space, as their data bank keeping the karma chart.
Human life is more or less, goes on a chance rather than a choice.
Stars may be the guiding light for people to move, work and live not according to their choice, but according to the chance opened to them by their karma account.
Why do a person from New York, live and work in Australia ?Why do one become a priest, in spite of his dream to become an actor?.
How could we explain an Obama with his Indonesian roots, becoming the US president. We could call it the karma of people. In a mystery called our life, Who could have selected their parents,land of origin,place of birth, teachers friends ,position they hold, etc.
But it changes altogether,when people liberate them self from the bindings of their karma.Then they become sovereign,starts flowing like a river, in the being, with out any reason.
