The folly of prair. If prayer and faith has to be an effect,it should become a surrender of their ego to the being,to everybody.Becuase then only that person become humble to allow the power of god to work through them.When people are filled with knowledge, humility can hardly exist in people. God cannot enter such people.Inspite of their prayer or praise for the Lord,God cannot work in them. If people care to bring humility everywhere, even if they do not pray,God will be always with them.
To say something without saying anything, is the best prayer becuase God exists as the silent “bystand” in all human being with great power and blessing. But the ego dominated people do not realise this bystand of God in them. They search God somewhere in a Cult symbol or in a religious ritual. They waste their energy and life in search of God and favours going pilgrimage to far away places. They are forced to do that becuase of their blindness.As they live blind they do enough harm to others through their speech and deeds.That is why , people become restless and frightened. In such an insecurity they seek a rescue.It is nothing wrong in it.But if they have a better understanding of the way God works, they could get the blessing with out all gimmics.
Such people chase a foolish God, not because the God is foolish, but because, people have created a foolish God who is expected to accept all their foolish deeds, and the prayer afterwards.
Rich and poor, all over the world, people spent much time and effort in worshiping and prayer, expecting some fool as God. Because they are ignorant of a God,the divinity with in them.
Rich and poor do not pray for the same reasons. The rich would be praying because of their wealth related fear and problems. The poor would be praying because of the poverty related problems and fear.In both sides, the fact is the same. Fear,confusion and wrong doings of people. Everybody want to privatise the God to get advantages and blessings.
Jesus wanted people to be righteous in their life to enjoy peace and tranquility. In a sermon, he says ” you must be perfect as your Father in heaven, is perfect. Don’t do Good Works only to be Praised by People”. This is possible in people only through awakening the inner person,the self.
The external person in people (the ego) is never ready to surrender to God and the fellow beings. It happens because the ego does not know that the supreme power is in people itself. So there is a dog fighting and competition going on, to amass wealth and welfare. But welfare is not in wealth, but in humility. People believe in the power of prayer to overcome their personal difficulties,but do not see the difficulties of their co-beings.How can a fair God accept this?
a righteous person is someone who puts others first.When you put others first,you put God first.This is surrender to God.
Whenever your ego surrenders,the God comes up in you to guide you.Then why should you chase a foolish God some where else?
Can Intelligence and foolishness go hand in hand?
Is it not a vicious cycle, that is going on with people, who are intelligent in doing all evils to others and praying foolish to some God to forgive all that . It has become a never ending process in human life. No God could tolerate such foolishness and shame from those who think themselves intelligent human beings. Religion has become an escape from the duties of a person to be righteous in his deeds. The manner of your speech, the words, you talk, the way you address your servants, the way you treat your family and neighbours – have to be right and fair not only for you but also for them.
It is a fact that, the agitating mind seek a rescue in faith or belief in some God. Such a belief could function like a smoke screen, as if it would protect them from all guilty conscience and restless life.They pray and worship in their confusion,fear and anxiety.It is a pathetic situation of a blind ego that will be more and more selfish.
Real worship is all about surrender of the ego with devotion to God, the inner person.
The inner person is an expression of respect before peace and virtues. God does not expect that people should unite and form religions for flattery and praise of the lordship,but certainly, God wishes that, people be righteous in life,recognise the dignity and value of life. Unless and until people recognise the value of their life, their prayer and worship is going to bring them nothing. It may only destroy the peace and tranquility in the nature. Because there is a great noise and show going on in many parts of the world in the name of God,which is a contempt of God itself. Peace is the house of God. Who ever destroys peace , is against god and self destructive.
On pure common sense,we could say that the poor cannot afford that time and energy they dedicate for religious non sense . The rich could easily afford any prayer and pilgrimage but the poor could never afford such non-sense. In fact, any God cannot allow people concessions, free money or health , when they do not work, and live with discipline and responsibility.
But people anticipate a foolish God who does give everything free of cost, like political parties.They are making them self, foolish by supporting such non sense. Could anybody bring an evidence that people who do strict routine prayers, going pilgrims, have become a better human being, through the practice of religious gimmicks. It is true that even thugs and terrorists pray for the success of their nefarious missions,well before they embark on an evil attack.
Rich people are the worst tax evaders and black money holders,who are most religious and pour money free handed in to the temple and churches.If we watch the devotees,those who took the longest time to knee down before an altar, are usually those who lead the most mischievous life.
It does not matter how an individual decides to spend his time.
If they get peace of mind through prayer and performance of any ritual, they have every right to do that, as long as they do not destroy public peace. But when different religious groups in a country as a whole,make it in a public way hurting peace and tranquility of the surrounding places, it becomes a social evil and a contempt of God itself.
Many religions have become demonstrative of their power and strength against their opponents, by spending huge money on festivals,buildings and all kinds of show business and publicity. On the other side many millions of man-hours are wasted in pursuit of a non sense religious business that could have been invested in many creative ways to build better people and life.
Most religions take no consideration for the feelings and comfort of public, out side their motto of growth. The money they spend on publicity building and PR work could be very well utilized for uplifting of poor members in their own religion.The use of loudspeakers uttering prayers and slogans, call for prayer from mosques, or blasting of high sounding explosives, fireworks, mega big processions exhibiting poor animals, bocking public ways are ridiculous in the name any God. These are all perverseness and grave contempt of the divinity going on in many religious groups. Poor countries should learn from developed economies that nothing can be created from prayer.No wealth no peace of mind come out of a non sense ritual.
Work as worship – is the best religion for ever.
People should realise that work is the best worship. Work on life and work for a decent living is what the divinity would accept. All PR shows to grow the religion will enhance social rivalry and is a human disaster in the waiting. There is no harm in prayer and worship, as long as it is a private matter, done iside their home.
God speaks silence, to hear the God`s speech, people should keep silence.
The best advice of all times,is given by Jesus on prayer. “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you“.
While pursuit of truth in science is a collective effort, religion and politics is a collective effort to satisfy the personal ego. The search for truth in metaphysics through the spiritual route, could only be an individual pursuit, for enlightenment. Self -finding efforts can never be collective but only a personal experience that cannot be shared or attained in a group effort .It is like an orgasm in sex.
An individual,free of ego, through silence meets with God personally, any time anywhere.
