Awakening and the five virgin women
Heaven is the status of the supreme being. When we go with the being, we are detached from our ego and enter the heaven status.Ego is the attached status of our senses with the “I” feeling.When ever we get detached to our “I” feeling ,we are enabled to awaken with our five senses in to the being.
Centuries before, Jesus tried to explain this truth on heaven, through a parable of two groups of five virgin women who were supposed to recieve the bridegroom.
Jesus compared the “kingdom of heaven” to a group of five wise virgins,(awakened status) who were prepared to receive the bridegroom with awakened senses(detached from the ego). As the parable says, one group of five virgins were foolish, and other group of five were wise. Only the wise group could enjoy life with the groom,as they were prepared for it.
Two significant points are expressed here by Jesus. One is that “kingdom of heaven” is a matter of awakened status and foolish attachment status of our senses.
Heaven is not a post mortem status
Other thing he say, is that the heaven is not of a postmortem nature, but it is”here and now”, for those people who live awakened.It is contradictory to a heaven that the religion make people believe, which comes only post mortem and never in their life time.
What does Jesus mean here?
The fact in the parable is disguised,that normal people cannot understand the meaning underlying in the parable of Jesus.
What is the meaning of the number five and the virginity ?
The number five explains the five human senses. The virginity explains the non attachment and clarity of our senses.To be awakened we need clear senses that function hassle free.
Jesus say that, those foolish virgins did not check whether they had oil in their lamps. The wise virgins took oil too with the lamp.
The kingdom of heaven is clearly described as a status where our senses work awakened.
Who is the bridegroom ?
The bridegroom is nothing other than the consciousness in the being. It is the divine inner being in all people. According to Jesus only the awakened people are able to enter the kingdom of heaven.
People belong to two groups
In one group of people, their senses are not awakened and do things that are only foolish. In the other group, people have awakened senses, so what ever they do, it become wise decisions.
Jesus said the truth
Normal people live with distracted senses, because of their mental confusion. Jesus say that “Kingdom of heaven” is a status of awakened, stable, human senses, so that people could realise the reality. Heaven cannot be post mortem or somewhere away from the living environment.
Become awakened with your senses, the heaven happens in you. Have no doubt about it, heaven is only realising the being.
