Peace and war- a status of ego

In respect of “ brutality and aggression”, animals cannot overtake the human ego.

Poor animals do not have intelligence to live a life with ego , below the animal standard. Human ego  do not feel ashamed of entertaining itself  with aggression   and violence that goes below the human standard.

When our ego feels  empty, hopeless and frightened, our ego get mad. The result is an aggressor whose trajectory is unpredictable  and brutal.

Peace is a natural state of our being  which is destroyed by  our ego being.

In spite of a social tolerance against confrontation as sports or a form of entertainment, people  seek peace everywhere.  it seems  a paradoxical pity with those who are expected to be masters of this universe? Even  the animals could not rate such  human as  intelligent and human .

In most  people, the ego  and the peace (self)  are at loggerheads, and this  conflict  leads to the loss of harmony and integrity in them. If we could differentiate our natural  being from our ego being , our life changes at once. The unity of the “spirit” (natural being) with the  “ego being”  reinstates peace  in people. Otherwise our ego  is engaged with  unwanted thoughts and fear that make us restless.

Tranquility or peace which is our  natural status, is in a mismatch with our ego.Because ego is an emotional status that wavers like a wave . The ego can not  be natural. It seeks something new to  differentiate itself from others. That is why it do not shy to try any evil to make itself a show to the world.

Those people who live ego-oriented, lose the humility and peace .They  embrace  either evils or  virtues  that satisfy their ego.

Animals fight each other only in fair terms and directly  eye to eye.The clever human ego have no fairness in  rivalry and fight. Peace is a natural state of being on earth or in the whole universe. It is the divine force that keeps the nature and the life.Violence is an artificial outcome of emotions in animals when they are not satisfied and self content. Anybody who apply violence do not have the capacity to control emotions and thereby suffering from some deficit in their personality.
As in any action, violence also cannot avoid the “cause and effect” factor.Violence continues to be a major menace throughout the world in many forms. If the causes of violence could be identified , by moderating those causes, violence can be avoided and people could live in peace. Most people feel the need to control and dominate  the environment, they live. But  those who have an emotional deficit of feeling “not powerful enough” , take violence as a tool to get through. Abusers may feel the need to control their partners because of low self-esteem, extreme jealousy, and other strong emotions that make them feel inferior to the others in the same community or rival groups.
If we look at the Chimpanzee males, they too compete for position and dominance of hierarchy status. Males control females by physical violence and intimidation. Chimpanzees also engage in purposeful raids to kill members of other chimpanzee groups. There is inter-group violence and intra-group violence in the chimpanzee social life.It is the desire for domination that  takes the form of emotional, physical or sexual assault. Those Children, who witness or become victims of violence may try to believe that violence is a reasonable means  to resolve conflicts between people. Boys who enjoy a privilege in social and cultural context, learn that women are inferior to men and apply violence against women to get dominance and acceptance.

THE CAUSES OF VIOLENCE

There is a huge concern about violence in the world, today. The basic condition that tempt aggression  in people, is that, the ego of  people get hurt emotionally anytime and everywhere. Anybody who is provoked, hit, beaten, or threatened with violence will have a tendency to react with violence. Anybody who act in violence should be suffering from painful hurts.

Sexual urge and  emotional pressure are  abnormal situations in the masculine  ego, which  could  make them  aggressive. The anxieties, disappointments, and frustrations in people could build  psychosomatic  pressure in people, who explode in to attacking or emotionally hurting or challenging others in direct provocation.

Suffering an  insult  or defamation is the last thing,  our ego  could tolerate, for any reason. Therefore  people always try to undertake these evils against their opponents and rivals. Added to these basic conditions, there is the fact that violence is tolerated and glorified in most societies both primitive and civilized.

Aggression is historically linked to project male dominance and power. Children are exposed to violent  competitive  sports and television programs, films, and video games with mostly aggressive  characters. Little boys are given toy soldiers, guns, and other war toys with which they play and grow up. Story books and school text books often glorify war, a predominantly masculine activity, and study great male conquerors as ever praised heroes. Many parents are pleased when their children fight back in self-defense with friends. Many parents worry about children who refuse to fight.

Humility  and the  human ego  do not co-exist.

Unless and until the human ego is brought under awareness,it cannot be made healthy. People who live with a sick ego is in conflict with themselves. Because the human nature is peace and humility. This conflict make us sooner than later a aggressive  person who becomes a burden and menace to humanity.Civilization or education does not make any change because both are  enhancing more ego and selfishness in people. The education must change fundamentally from teaching competition to complementing and co operation.
Humility is an inner growth, that destroys  the  deficits of our ego  (emotional being).
