Me and my master is a simple observation on my master, who give me great care and love like no body. I am a simple and humble dog enjoying many privileges by my master . A dog is a dog. Yet, why do I enjoy this much esteem and love from my master?.I wanted to find out by studying my boss, the human being.
As more and more I study my master, I could call him a “dog-man” who stray along the life, with some or other dogmas, confused in their ideas and philosophy, lost in the unknown labyrinth of life. It may be a fact that my masters realise the danger of dogmatism, only belated, to repent ,but too late to set right in this life.
Unlike our masters,we are dogs but never dogmatic in our life. That is why we dogs, seems to be ever happy in comparison with our unhappy masters. We are committed to take out their never ending pain and fear ,giving them the message of unconditional love and loyalty.
my master never understand the greatness of life .
In a way, we do also that what our masters do.We are restless in our life,we are ever frightened,we bark and bite as to the situation, when we interact with our colleagues or when we meet a stranger. We are loyal and honest but not like our masters, who change their loyality as to their changing interests. Our masters change their loyalty and dogmas as to the circumstances of a success and failure. That is why they are called opportunists. They could be dishonest in order to succeed or make gains. They want to succeed at any cost even ignoring truth. We do not want a success or failure in life. we do not compete like them or become jealous of others. Because we never live with a logic of success and failure. We too have a small ego, that we never inflate. Because we do not acquire new knowledge and wisdome. We reamain the whole life as dogs, enjoying our life, as it is.
Me and my dog is a life long romance for our masters, as we never interfere in their privacy and we respect their ego all the time. Once a great man tweeted “My dogs Tito and Tango make it so enjoyable to come home each evening. They wait for me and give me their undivided affection”. From this we understand how valuable are we to our masters. It may be only because of our loyalty, which is unequaled and total to our masters alone. That is why we are more than a best friend to them, enriching their life with much happiness. For most of our masters,we have taken the place of their most trusted companion,or like their grand children, to share their feelings and emotions. We do not know why the human companionship become difficult to maintain ?. They may be costly to afford or tolerate,in comparison with us.We are not any demanding type.We are quite satisfied with a minimum for existence.
We dogs can not only bring down the stress levels of our masters, but we can also help make their life more satisfying and fulfilling. We could be a great buffer to the impact of stress situations in our masters by motivating them to higher creative live. An outgoing with us,dogs could work as a cheap wellness in their daily life, especially in a caged life atmosphere of the modern cities.
We know that we,dogs out do our human masters, in respect of trust and loyalty. Absolute trust and fairness is impossible in any human relationship. It is more possible between a us and our masters. Many animals may feel envious of the love and warm, that we enjoy with our masters. We enjoy the status of a family member by our masters.
It is interesting to note that the human ego wants to possess and have control of everything in possession. Our small ego always feel great in itself, and wants to see the world inferior to my ego.
As a domestic animal,we satisfy this psychological need of the human ego.The human ego wants the other ego to surrender and obey.In most of the human relationships, the leading question on dominance of power. who is powerful and commanding the game. As long as this question is not answered, their ego-clash do not allow the relationship to remain healthy. We see that, an ego clash is the prime reason for the failure of human relationships.
I am pleased to understand some commonalities for both we dogs and our masters. We both live in constant fear. The fun is that, to avoid fear, my master seeks rescue in me. For my fear,I seek rescue in my master as well.
Barking is an aggressive defence tactic,we both practice to escape fear or challenge our foe. Any barking, from us, provocates the enemy to some reaction. Barking is like an “advance bail”, before getting in to a direct confrontation with strangers and opponents. when we dogs sense even the slightest danger or smell any strangers, we start barking automatically, even before realizing what it could be.It is our auto-reaction inherent in our ego.
We use barking also, as an offensive to frighten or manipulate our enemies or target audience. But there is a talk in the public that ” barking dogs do not bite”.It may be more correct in politics ,where most of our masters do only talk and seldom keep a promise.
We see also people in different fields, who bark like us only to keep their opponents down. Because they fear each other. We dogs and our masters, both do not tolerate another of the same species in our territory of dominance. Because we like and love to be dominant and superior anywhere and everywhere.
Home-lost dog and native-lost man, both do not feel at home even if we are in the heaven.Because out of our territory we feel powerless. We both react to a change in the surroundings with fear and suspect. We are not at all comfortable, out of our used territory. We do not even bark, out of our territory.
Our masters face many problem in a – dog eat dog- world, they create.
We see in the jungle, the most wild animals like tiger or lion may hunt a deer but never one of their own species. When two tigers fight over territory dominance, may be showing their teeth, but only taking care they don’t actually hurt each other with their claws.
But when two of our masters fight, there can be no fairness on either side, with each party feeling self-pity or self-righteous in finishing the other using any means.
Cheating each other or attacking the opponents from hide-outs, secret operations are typically human and they outdo us in matters of rivalry .Only a human animal can become a terrorist, which is the new face of war. We dogs some dignity, that we do not attack enemies from a hideout. We can never behave like a suicide bomber who kills many poor innocents . We are not as much cunning as our masters.
We never understand, why our masters follow, a dog-ish - dog eat dog policy in spite of their intelligence?
